Rye Beachouse Renovation

Rustic Beachouse Turned Chic: A rustic beach house turned chic is an exciting way to describe this stunning renovation. Mixing old with new and keeping in touch with its farmhouse roots, Twostyle added organic coastal finishes to create a cohesive and inviting family home minutes away from Rye’s front beaches. A complete interior and exterior transformation saw the team take on a Hamptons-inspired approach by incorporating white panelled walls alongside large glass windows over two levels. Wicker and soft timber furnishings complement the stained oak ceiling beams, nodding to the home’s historical charm. While stone benchtops, custom joinery and gold fixtures evoke an enchanting simplicity that is utterly timeless. Like all family homes, separate spaces for relaxation and entertainment are integral. The open-plan layout on the first floor accompanied by a new decking area and revamped second floor balcony make this home an entertainer’s dream that will cater to the whole family. No matter whether it rains, hails or shines, a staycation at this beach house will make you feel like summer has arrived. Photography by Simon Shiff
