Custom Dementia Fencing and Windsor Framed Balustrades for a Hamilton Retirement Village
A custom dementia fence with a glass overhang, paired with Windsor Framed Balustrades, built to suit the different care levels across a single retirement village site.
Ryman Linda Jones sits on River Road in Hamilton and offers a mix of apartments, townhouses, and specialised care units, each with its own safety and design requirements. UNEX's custom-designed dementia fence uses a glass overhang to keep sightlines open while meeting the safety needs of residents living with dementia.
Alongside the fencing, UNEX supplied Windsor Framed Balustrades to the decks, adapted with a corner motif to suit the site's layout and surroundings.
The result gives residents a safe, open outdoor environment across the village's different living options, with the balustrade design tailored to each area rather than applied as a single standard solution.
