Sausalito Cottage

BRIEF
Our Sydney client purchased this holiday cottage on the picturesque slopes of Sausalito. Our brief was to arrive two weeks ahead of our client in order to furnish the entire house, finishing to a level so that our client could walk in and feel at home.
INTENTION
The inspiration was 70s California when colour was celebrated and the feeling was relaxed.
RESULT
Furniture, carpets and art were sourced from vintage stores, auction houses and antique stores over a hectic, highly strategic fortnight to produce this result.
The view over to San Francisco City can be soaked in from many of the cottage's rooms.
