This home epitomises a grand country design and was a project that our team really did build from start to finish, with all excavation, concreting & cabinetry completed by our in-house team of carpenters.

The external facade features a high level of carpentry work with curved veranda beams and timber post capitals, and timber lining boards on the veranda and all ceilings. A substantial 140sqm spotted gum deck wraps around the entire house.

The split level home incorporates half on a suspended slab and the other half on bearers and joists. The suspended slab & footings, together with an exposed aggregate concrete driveway and the feature fireplace’s burnished concrete hearth and suspended bench, were all formed and poured by our in-house carpenters.

Further features of the home include double glazed windows, high ceilings throughout, spotted gum hardwood flooring, Corinthian Moda range doors, Tradco door furniture, under house storage and a grand hallway that leads to the open plan kitchen and living.

The beautiful bathrooms feature electric underfloor heating, and natural timber vanities and shaving cabinets.

We love the high level of detail in all of the concreting and carpentry work which was carried out on-site by our Waratah team of carpenters, creating a bespoke custom home.

Construction project management is directed by Jack, whose focus is on clear communication, planning and budget – ensuring construction milestones are met and the project runs smoothly from commencement to completion.

As co-owners of Waratah Building, Jack and Nick are across all aspects of each project. Their professionalism, experience and investment in processes and construction management technology ensure client expectations are exceeded at every stage.
