The 7 Pillars of Greenery
Conceived by our passionate team and their Australian partner Fytogreen, and working in collaboration with project landscape architects Boffa Miskell, the Federal Street green wall has a total area of 130 square metres, containing 3,500 plants.
It contains the Southern Hemisphere's first ever circular green walls, encasing seven pillars, rising to meet a 48m long living wall above.
Round and Round We Go...
Designed to introduce greenery, bio-diversity and improved air quality into this challenging city centre location, the green pillars required a creative engineering and planting approach
A lengthy research and development phase preceded the final selection and arrangement of plant species, over 80% of which are New Zealand natives.
GreenAir brings the natural world into urban environments, revitalising space and helping reconnect people with nature. Their plants transform workplaces, enhance performance and nurture well-being.
Beyond an aesthetic transformation, GreenAir means healthier air, and increased vitality.
