The Victoria Street extension involved opening up the rear of an existing heritage home to create an analogous and cohesive family home. Internal walls were demolished through the kitchen, living, dining, and outdoor areas to amalgamate the isolated spaces into one generous, open plan area.

Large glass sliding doors demarcate indoor and outdoor spaces, while a timber deck backyard connects seamlessly to the interior. A small courtyard situated adjacent to the dining area provides a more private outdoor space.

Co-lab is a growing architecture practice based in Melbourne. We have many projects on the go across multi-residential, childcare, residential, and commercial.

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
