Designed within stringent heritage overlays, this centre saw the revitalisation of the southern end of the Docklands Goods Shed. The once vacuous building was converted into an 130 place childcare centre to cater for the growing demand for inner city centres. The design rejuvenates the building while remaining sympathetic to key heritage features, including wrought iron roof trusses and a masonry facade, which maintain the character of the centre.

Co-lab is a growing architecture practice based in Melbourne. We have many projects on the go across multi-residential, childcare, residential, and commercial.

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
