MPAD highly values their involvement in these projects and looks forward to continuing to contribute to the development and growth of Te Awamutu.

Richard Coles has long involvement with this project, starting with a private Plan Change for the T7 Growth Cell Area in Te Awamutu, which is within jurisdiction of the Waipā District Council. This Plan Change enabled a resource consent to be prepared for the establishment of the Highfield Country Estate Retirement Village, consented in 2011, and also the enabling and required infrastructure for the T7 Growth Cell. Since then, MPAD has prepared a private Plan Change and Structure Plan for the T8 Growth Cell Area, a 28-hectare area adjoining the T7 Growth Cell.  This was adopted by Waipā District Council in 2019 and MPAD has recently been involved in consenting a 100-lot subdivision and an extension to the established Highfield Country Estate Retirement Village following the plan change.
