In 2023 SRS installed a Ronstan catenary cable net system, engineered through Ronstan Tensile Architecture and Tensys with Taupo Council architects. SRS was engaged by Force Engineering limited who were manufacturing and installing the catenary support posts. This standout lighting configuration was formed by 23 diagrid pattern cables crossing the street and pedestrianised zone. No wonder the Taupo Town Centre Transformation (TTCT) has been shortlisted for the 2024 Resene NZILA Awards in Civic and Urban Design!
