The Precinct, Pipiri Lane

In 2025, we completed an operable wall installation at The Precinct, Pipiri Lane for Black Interiors, designed by Warren & Mahoney. The project featured two Dorma Variflex 100U semi-automatic operable walls, centrally stacked into a custom-designed cupboard for a clean and space-saving solution. The walls were finished in Autex Cube, delivering a modern, textured aesthetic while maintaining excellent acoustic performance. A standout feature of this installation is the integrated pass door, which functions as an egress door while seamlessly blending into the operable wall system. The semi-automatic operation ensures smooth, efficient movement of the panels, combining convenience, safety, and design sophistication. This project demonstrates our expertise in high-performance, tailored operable wall solutions that integrate functionality, design, and acoustic performance. The semi-automated system provides a simple and efficient way to operate the walls, allowing spaces to be reconfigured with minimal effort. With two operable walls working as part of the overall interior design, the project delivers a practical balance between flexibility, functionality and architectural aesthetics.
