BRIEF

Being avid art collectors, our gorgeous Windsor couple has art adorning almost every wall in their home. Traveling extensively, they’ve been able to collect stunning art pieces from every country they have visited. It was only fitting, that when they came to Indulge Renovations for their main bathroom renovation, we gave them not just a bathroom renovation, but we gave them a piece of art.

It’s very rare for people to use baths these days and in a two bedroom apartment, there is often no need for one. To create a bigger shower, we removed the bath and created a very large step-up walk-in shower.  In place of the old shower, we were able to incorporate a large storage unit; handy for towel storage.

Laying a terrazzo floor really enlarges a space and by only tiling the shower walls, we were able to keep the scale of the room to its original large proportion.

Our focal point is the stunning timber walnut vanity, with the gorgeous stone which runs up the wall as the splashback. The look was completed with the beautiful Moroccan, gold-framed mirror and the stunning handmade wall light, parallel to it.

There was no better way to encapsulate our clients’ eccentric style, than with a bathroom that is destined for an art gallery.m
