Discover the Treehouse Margaret River, an architectural marvel seamlessly blending into nature's embrace, where the centerpiece is the captivating Axis H1400 fireplace from Sculpt Fireplace Collection. Nestled in the heart of a steep, verdant Margaret River bush block, this home embodies a couple's dream of harmonising their urban and rural lives. The allure of escape from the urban life was irresistible, sparking the creation of a home that respects both its surroundings and the need for sanctuary.
Crafted amidst intricate constraints and promising opportunities, the Treehouse Margaret River celebrates the land's beauty. Majestic trees stand undisturbed, while fire-resistant Spotted Gum cladding and Corten steel meld with the landscape. The Axis H1400 fireplace stands as a testament to this design, uniting conversations and warmth in its flickering flames. Rooted in sustainability, the home boasts a thriving vegetable patch, 2000 native plantings, and eco-friendly features for off-grid living. The established 30 – 150yr+ old Jarrah, Karri and Marri trees, and the site’s original topography – all the things that had attracted the owners in the first place – were retained. With panoramic views and the comforting embrace of the Axis H1400, this home epitomizes The Good Life – a blend of resplendent design and sustainable harmony.
The Treehouse Margaret River project sought the guidance of an architect to transform a dream into reality. With the daunting task of harmonizing a semi-permanent country home within the confines of a complex, steep bush block, an architect's expertise was crucial.
Navigating challenges such as fire ratings, local planning regulations, and environmental sensitivity required a mastermind capable of transforming constraints into opportunities. The architect's touch seamlessly integrated the landscape's majestic trees, cladding textures, and the stunning Axis H1400 wood fireplace from Sculpt Fireplace Collection, into a symphony of design, creating a living masterpiece that stands as a testament to the pivotal role of architectural vision.
