Bringing modern living concepts to an 1870’s near-original villa in Parnell has design challenges to balance of authenticity versus aspiration in creating a Villa Outdoor Room.
This reinvented traditional form has liberated the living flow for this elevated inner-city villa. A faceted copper roof extends a veranda providing generous party space and a new connection to the garden and auxillary buildings.
A prime example of architecture transforming day-to-day living.
