Concept design for a new holiday home situated within a private bay on Waiheke Island. The brief was for a home that did not dominate the site but sat nestled within the valley and created shelter from the elements and captured the western sea views. The result was a simple large square shaped roofline offering large eaves to all sides and a simplicity of construction that was required for such an isolated property.
