Winner of Room of the Year 2021 in House & Garden’s Top 50 Rooms awards, this two-storey, three-bedroom apartment showcases the creative use of curves in a palette that merges soft pink and yellow with elegant white and grey. The new design and fit-out led by Greg Natale uses the interior architecture, furniture and accessories to form beautifully fluid lines, beginning with the living area, in the contours of the staircase, fireplace and the built-in low bench and cabinetry that wrap around the walls beneath. A selection of modern European furniture here and in the adjoining dining area echoes those lines, with brass accents bringing a warm gleam to the apartment’s soft tones. Curves are a highlight in the hand-carved grey Carrara marble kitchen island, and on the bathroom walls, covered in delicate mosaic finger tiles. Designed on organic lines, the master ensuite features a walk-in robe, free-standing bath and luxuriously furnished living area. That blend of luxury and comfort continues throughout the apartment, with curves and colours working together to create a sophisticated yet serene space.
