The best interiors consider the smallest details – carefully curating the way different colours, finishes and textures work together to not only look beautiful, but also feel good in the space.

Although a seemingly small detail, door hardware plays a crucial role in the overall aesthetic and atmosphere of an interior. However, it can be a challenge for homeowners and designers when selecting door hardware that balances both style and durability, with the need for the hardware to also complement other fixtures and fittings in the design palette.

The Lockwood Vivid Collection in Satin Brass.

Introducing the Lockwood Vivid Collection

Providing a complete range of hardware, including premium levers, door stops, hinges, cavity sliders, and more, all in a range of stunning, on-trend colours, the Lockwood Vivid Collection can be used throughout the home for a cohesive look.

“We spent a lot of time choosing finishes that felt timeless but also fresh because we know that style isn’t just about trends, it’s about what feels right in your home,” says Kelly Erasmus, Product Manager for the Vivid Collection.

“We know that when someone chooses a door handle, they’re not just thinking about function – they’re thinking about how it fits into the room, the mood and the overall feel. That’s what we put at the core of the Vivid collection.”

Durability was also top of mind, with each product featuring a PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) coating, providing enhanced corrosion resistance, durability, and a flawless finish that withstands the rigours of everyday use.

“These door levers not only enhance functionality, but also elevate the visual harmony of any interior setting.”

“Our solution was to create a line of door levers that are not only functional – they also serve as statement pieces. By offering these levers in bronze, brushed brass, and gun metal finishes, we cater to various stylistic preferences, ensuring that each piece could blend harmoniously.”

The collection has been designed to suit modern interiors, where every small detail matters.

Which colour hardware should you choose?

Designed to suit today’s interiors, the collection offers three stylish colour options – Satin Bronze, Satin Brass, and Satin Gun Metal – with hardware for the entire home.

“We didn’t want people to have to piece together their hardware from different ranges. Vivid is designed as a complete suite, so every element works together, visually and functionally.”

Satin Bronze: The Satin Bronze finish is perfect for those seeking a timeless, classic look. Its warm, rich tones add a touch of sophistication to any room. The matching accessories, including door stops, hinges, and handle plates, ensure a consistent and luxurious feel throughout the home. This finish is particularly favoured in traditional and rustic settings, where it complements wooden furniture and earthy colour palettes.

Satin Brass: Satin Brass offers a contemporary twist on a classic metal. Its muted, golden sheen is both modern and elegant, making it a popular choice for contemporary and transitional interiors. The matching accessories, such as towel bars, robe hooks, and cabinet pulls, provide a cohesive look that ties the room together. This finish works well with neutral colours and modern decor, adding a touch of understated opulence.

Satin Gun Metal: For a bold, industrial edge, the gun metal finish is the go-to choice. Its dark, sleek appearance adds a modern and edgy feel. The matching accessories, including light switch covers, door knockers, and drawer pulls, reinforce the contemporary aesthetic. This finish is ideal for urban lofts, modern apartments, and minimalist homes, where it complements monochromatic colour schemes and industrial design elements.
