The window and door industry is changing rapidly. From evolving building requirements and energy efficiency to automation, digital manufacturing and supply-chain challenges, the way windows and doors are designed, manufactured and specified continues to evolve. Bringing these conversations together was the focus of Siegware Seminar 2026, held across two days on 20 and 21 August. The event brought together industry professionals, manufacturers, partners and guests to share knowledge, explore emerging solutions and discuss the challenges shaping the future of the industry.

Held at Novotel Preston on the first day, the seminar featured presentations and discussions covering a broad range of topics relevant to architects, builders, fabricators and construction professionals. Building performance, compliance, thermal efficiency, sustainability, automation and manufacturing were among the key areas explored, alongside developments in uPVC, sealing solutions and digital fabrication.

A highlight of the event was the participation of Ralf Diller, Divisional Managing Director of SIEGENIA, who travelled from Germany to share insights into innovation and developments in window and door solutions. The event also recognised Siegware's long-standing relationship with SIEGENIA, with Siegware receiving an appreciation certificate during the seminar.

Industry perspectives were also brought to the discussion through Clinton Skeoch, Executive Director and CEO of AGWA, while other sessions looked at the changing uPVC market, automation and manufacturing efficiency. SGL Global Logistics provided insight into global supply chains and the importance of resilience and diversification in an increasingly connected industry.

The second day took the conversation beyond the conference room, with attendees travelling to Siegware's new warehouse in Ballan, Victoria. The visit gave guests an opportunity to see Siegware's expanded operations and local stockholding firsthand, while experiencing the infrastructure supporting the company's growing supply capability across Australia and New Zealand.

More than a traditional product seminar, the two-day event created an opportunity for different parts of the industry to come together and exchange perspectives. The discussions demonstrated how closely connected today's challenges are—from building performance and compliance to automation, sustainable manufacturing and supply chain resilience.

For Siegware, the seminar was also an opportunity to strengthen relationships across the industry. As a supplier of European-engineered window and door hardware, automation, ventilation, airtightness solutions and other building products, Siegware works with architects, builders, fabricators and construction professionals across Australia and New Zealand.

The conversations that began at Siegware Seminar 2026 reflect an industry continuing to evolve. As expectations around performance, sustainability, automation and construction efficiency increase, collaboration and knowledge sharing will play an increasingly important role in shaping the solutions of tomorrow.

For Siegware, innovation is not just about the products - it is about bringing people, knowledge and ideas together to help move the industry forward.
