The rise of urbanisation, multigenerational living and smaller footprint homes are changing the way we live. Most floorplans no longer include formal dining areas or a dedicated living room; instead, more and more homeowners are combining their kitchen, living and dining into one contemporary, open-plan space.
The kitchen has truly transformed into the ‘heart of the home’. But that doesn’t have to mean the preparation space and all the appliances are always in view – after a busy day or when you’re entertaining family and friends, it’s a wonderful feeling to be able to simply close the clutter away out of sight.
Blum has a solution for exactly this – its new pocket system, REVEGO.
Enabling new design possibilities
REVEGO provides new opportunities for creating multifunctional spaces – allowing you to open up entire living areas when you need them, and conceal them again when they are not in use. Kitchen worktops can be quickly hidden away as guests arrive, a home office can be skilfully closed off in the living room or spare bedroom, the hallway can be turned into storage for bulky items, and a home bar can be effortlessly revealed to impress guests – the possibilities are endless.
The new pocket systems product category is characterised by the high quality and ease of use that is synonymous with Blum. REVEGO uses the TIP-ON motion technology, which allows users to open cabinet doors with a light press and slide them away into the pocket. The kitchen workspace, home office or laundry room is now easily accessible.
To close off the space, the user simply presses the door to release it from the pocket and then presses it closed again to elegantly conceal the entire area. When they are closed, the doors conceal the furniture units, including their pockets, making REVEGO the ideal solution for the multifunctional use of space.

A versatile and easy-to-use system with options for customisation
Complete with fully integrated technology, the pocket door system supports large fronts from floor to ceiling that challenge the typical design of sliding or pocket doors. The fronts of the REVEGO system are hidden when open – to be out of the way, they simply slide into narrow pockets to the left and right of the units, which only measure up to 150mm wide, depending on the application.
Customisable for spaces of all sizes, the REVEGO pocket door system is available in single and double door applications – REVEGO uno and REVEGO duo. For a small run of kitchen units, one double door which folds together before disappearing into the pocket will do the trick. For larger spaces such as open-plan kitchen and dining areas, multiple single and double door combinations can be used.
There are no constraints on the design of the furniture to be hidden which is completely concealed by the full overlay fronts when closed, and Blum’s unique pocket door system for single and double door applications adds an extra element of ease and elegance.

REVEGO inspires new approaches to planning and furniture construction to create new sensations and a better quality of living.
