Panic Bars are push bars/crash bars installed on exit doors to allow quick exiting of buildings. (e.g. where an emergency or panic situation could occur) 

Panic Bar Function - Operated by a horizontal push bar, which when pushed in a downward arc withdraws either the bolts or latch, releasing the door for immediate escape in the event of an emergency. 

Note: Panic bar only, mortice lock & external furniture not included 

  • An economical range of push bar devices designed to suit single and double door applications. 
  • Can be used on aluminium, hollow metal, or wood swinging commercial doors. 
  • Available as rim and surface mounted vertical panic bolt devices.

  • Successfully tested up to 2 hours (depending on type of door set) on fire door assemblies in accordance with Australian Standard AS 1905.1- 2005, Part 1: Fire Resistant Doorsets.
