Resource Consents

We are happy to assist clients in the lodging of resource consents, including the compiling of relevant documentation and in writing the Assessment of Environmental Effects (AEE).

Building Consents

We are highly knowledgeable in preparing and submitting building consents and can organise council inspections and complete the Code of Compliance Certificate.

B.I.M. Software

Building Information Modelling (BIM) is a 3D modelling process that we use to visualise your design and help you understand the building’s dimensions when it comes to decision-making.

Steve Humpherson
Director and Architectural Designer

Well-proportioned buildings and the ability to really listen to clients and produce stunning, effective end results make Steve one of the region’s most respected architectural designers.

Passionate about good design, sustainability and the Central Otago landscape. Steve doesn’t just design a house, he designs a lifestyle.

With solid construction knowledge, Steve is able to coordinate all parties throughout the design and construction process. These abilities combined with over 25 years of experience, provide smooth and timely project delivery.

Sorted Architecture’s founder, Steve, has over twenty years’ extensive experience in the architectural business, working to create some of our region’s finest homes and stand-out commercial buildings.

Mike Finlay, LBP Design D1
Senior Architectural Designer

Interested in sustainable design, permaculture and minimalist architecture, Mike is a very experienced Architectural Designer/Technician who is able to progress a project from start to finish.

Mike began working in an architectural practice in Hamilton in early 2000’s specializing in projects within the Fuels industry. He moved to Wanaka in 2007 and has worked as a freelance Architectural Designer/ Technician on residential and light commercial projects before joining Sorted Architecture in 2015.
