Anderson Construction were proud to bring to life Bake Me Cake Me’s first flagship retail store. Our client wanted the store to be a direct representation of the company’s fun and playful ethos.

The store has a contemporary and whimsical aesthetic. The interior palette is curated with multiple shades of pink, dreamy wallpaper, terrazzo benchtops and warm grey tiled floors. The playful palette of finishes and custom-crafted arch joinery set the design dialogue which creates a dreamy and sweet experience within the venue.

The concept behind Bake Me Cake Me retail was to create an interactive Wonka-style experience for consumers. A full sensory journey is achieved through a combination of tactile elements including the cherry scented wallpaper, sculptural marshmallow mirror, quirky vending machine, and fully tiled mallow pool.

To the rear of the property ACPM also installed a functional commercial kitchen giving the chef’s the perfect space to create their delicious sweet treats.

The process was such a joy from start to end. From developing the concept alongside the client to working to achieve exceptional finishes throughout; it has been extremely rewarding to see this amazing space come to life and be enjoyed by so many.
