A transformative renovation project that reimagined a plaster-clad house into a stunning boat house, overcoming structural challenges and site constraints with innovative design and construction techniques.
This was a massive renovation project with a number of challenges.
Structurally, everything except the garage, kitchen floor joists and lift shaft were removed. It was a steep site requiring scaffolding more than 10m high while a narrow shared drive providing the only access. The before and after photos give an idea of the scale of the project – transforming a plaster clad house into a boat house inspired beauty.
