Capricorn Tavern and Motel

BRD Group were undertaken to design a 'family-style' tavern which predominantly catered for local residents, but also appealed to the visiting tourists to the region. The building includes a sports bar, gaming room, lounge area, kitchen and bar areas, dining zones, and outdoor terrace. A large bottle shop is also included with an attached drive-thru facility.
The motel incorporates 32 rooms and manager's unit on the first level, which allows the car parking, administration, and guest recreational areas on the ground level.
The exterior of the tavern and motel have been designed with a vernacular style in harmony with the local seaside community. The finishes are contemporary in presentation and have assisted the complex establish a strong local attendance.
