A homage to childhood, the dwelling was conceived with rural sheds in mind. Both the Designer and the Client grew up on nearby farms so the concept quickly developed with simple gable forms and timeless corrugated steel and macrocarpa timber claddings. 

The home uses large areas of glazing to capture the outstanding views over Molyneux Bay and the surrounding hills. The roof form provides the perfect amount of shading to ensure the summer sun is kept out and winter sun is welcomed in.

The interior design invites the occupants to relax and unwind, creating a sense of warmth in a picturesque location. From the modern open plan kitchen and living area to the stunning balcony views, this stylish home has been designed to capture the very essence of urban living in a small town coastal setting.
