The Coolum Surf Lifesaving Club is a dynamic thriving establishment that has been operating and providing critical services on the Sunshine Coast for nearly 100 years. The club has undertaken a completed refurbishment which included completely revamped social facilities which have allowed for more than double the patronage, redeveloped 'nipper' amenities, gear storage, reception/admin, and members training rooms. The upper level of the building required the most change with new amenities, function rooms, main bar, gaming room, TAB, kitchen and storage, and various dining areas. Extensions were also added to provide external dining decks to the club. 

Members Area

The design outcome for this project has provided a vibrant day use area for active club members, with an excellent outlook to the beach. This area of the club also feeds off the internal multi-purpose rooms, kitchen/cafe, and amenities, ultimately tying in with the rest of the club design. ​The new CSLSC members area overall provides active members with their own area to enjoy the camaraderie that the club encourages.
