Poolburn natural stone blends seamlessly into this stunning Dublin Bay setting, overlooking Lake Wānaka and framed by a sweeping mountain panorama. The stone's natural texture and organic tones complement the landscape, creating a timeless connection between architecture and place.
This home was completed using all-natural stone from Wānaka Stone's Poolburn quarry. None of the stone was guillotined, lending it a fresh, natural appearance in keeping with its surroundings. Wider footings — 200mm — were used to accommodate the stone with a raked, wide joint. Richly textured, the stone gives the home a sense of permanence within its evocative landscape.
