A modern“pod style” master retreat with a focus on passive climate management as a delightful private retreat for the owners, separate from the main dwelling but with a capacity for private entertaining.
EerwahVale Retreat is Solar PV connected and is 7-star NatHERS rated with passive thermal management incorporating ventricular passageways and glazing elements that move cooling airflows throughout and allow the home to ‘breath’. In addition, minimising air leakage via well-sealed envelope, large eaves and coupled with correct insulation, improves thermal comfort in winter and high summer when artificial climate management is needed via airconditioning, with doors and windows closed.
An internal“verandah” can be fully opened up or closed down with full weather sealing for greater amenity provided by this additional living space
