Heritage Fusion in Palm Beach: A Mediterranean masterpiece that restores a heritage-listed house while introducing flexible living spaces and a new level with a green roof, seamlessly blending modern comfort with stunning views and a private courtyard.
This project, completed at the end of 2015 retains and restores a heritage-listed house in Palm Beach and provides new flexible living spaces and additional accommodation.
The position of the original house on the site meant that only limited accommodation could be added behind which lead to the addition of a new level buried into the front lawn with an expansive ‘green roof’ above. This approach allowed the original home to remain centre-stage in a garden setting and for the new living areas and pool to share the spectacular views and position.
The rear of the house opens up to a courtyard that receives north sun and provides a sheltered and private outdoor dining area adjacent to the original part of the home.
