The Hopetoun House in Paddington is a shining example of how to renovate a Victorian terrace into a contemporary showcase. The balustrade for the stairs is one solid piece of iron running through the three floors of the home. On top of the large full-length windows in the living room, the terrace was also outfitted with a sandstone wine cellar in a newly excavated basement.
