House 1 Tree Change

The challenge for House 1 was to preserve the rustic appeal and historical significance of the old farmhouse while infusing it with modern amenities and energy-efficient features.

The goal was to create a space that seamlessly combined the warmth of country living with the sophistication of contemporary design. House 1's renovation strategy focused on preserving key architectural elements that reflected the farmhouse's heritage while introducing innovative solutions to enhance energy efficiency and comfort. Central to this strategy was the integration of aluplast windows and doors, renowned for their superior performance and sleek design. While preserving its heritage, House 1 embraced contemporary design elements to create a space that exuded modern sophistication.

Open-plan layouts, minimalist furnishings, and sleek fixtures seamlessly merged with the rustic backdrop, striking a perfect balance between old and new. Energy efficiency was a paramount consideration in The Block 2022 renovation journies. Recognizing the importance of sustainable living, the show opted for aluplast windows and doors throughout all 6 properties. Our high-performance uPVC systems offer excellent thermal insulation, minimizing heat loss and reducing energy consumption year-round. By integrating aluplast windows and doors, the property achieved a harmonious balance between rustic charm and modern comfort while significantly reducing its environmental footprint through improved energy efficiency.
