We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of our joint venture project on West Coast Road, Oratia now known as Kaihuia Lane, Oratia. In this venture, we acquired a parcel of land, subdivided it into eight lots, and subsequently sold four of them. The remaining four lots are now set for our own development. The project, executed throughout 2021 and 2022, included the purchase, subdivision, and sale of four lots, as well as the refurbishment of an existing four-bedroom home with a two-bedroom self-contained unit. This property, meticulously renovated, was successfully sold in 2021.
Currently, our focus has shifted to the remaining four lots, where we are in the process of constructing four distinct homes of which two are completed and the third one is underway. This marks the continuation of our commitment to delivering quality developments and enhancing the living experience in the West Coast Road/Kaihuia Lane, Oratia.

Joel Macreadie has been involved in New Zealand's building industry all his working life. After leaving school at 16, he completed his apprenticeship in Rotorua. After working successfully in the industry for a number of years Joel moved to Auckland and, in 2014, founded Macreadie Builders. Although Joel’s first love is renovations, especially character houses, he is equally passionate about building custom new builds.
Alongside Joel is a dedicated team of on-site and back office staff who bring enthusiasm to every job they do.
