A tight, constrained kitchen in this home was separated from family living spaces. With minimal structural interventions the proposal opens the kitchen to become the heart of the home, allowing light to stream through from both sides of the house.

Courtney is committed to a standard of excellence in the profession and alongside her practising career has served as a past Director of the NZIA, a Student Design Awards Juror, is a trustee of the Architecture Aotearoa Trust and is a current member of the NZRAB accreditation panel.
