Organisation and moments of joy were key considerations for this tight backyard project. With a brief to provide an all season outdoor BBQ kitchen and entertaining space, and accommodate a large (and fenced) swim-spa while creating a sense of garden oasis, we looked to focus on the details.

Courtney is a New Zealand Registered Architect with 20 years experience working across many sectors with highly regarded and award-winning practices within New Zealand. In 2020 Courtney was appointed a Fellow of Te Kahui Whaihanga, New Zealand Institute of Architects.

Courtney is committed to a standard of excellence in the profession and alongside her practising career has served as a past Director of the NZIA, a Student Design Awards Juror, is a trustee of the Architecture Aotearoa Trust and is a current member of the NZRAB accreditation panel.
