AMP Capital approached Edge ID with a brief to create furniture pods for Macquarie Centre with the aim of delivering on their customer centric design strategy, leveraging Australian Furniture Design talent, where possible, to create unique moments of delight in what is to become a shopping destination for iconic international and local fashion brands.
The brief included the Place Story for Macquarie Centre, the creation of an urban oasis incorporating landscaping and contemporary art threads, curated by AMPC. Edge ID responded with a bespoke design solution, landscaping embedded in furniture pieces and rug designs that captured the energy and vibrancy of the commissioned sculptures.
The collaboration with local brands and manufacturers from inception resulted in a unique and bespoke furniture pod collection, raising the bar in shopping centre ambience and amenity, to deliver on our clients brief and our creative vision.
