Iconic Construction is proud to deliver Tainui Group Holding Ltd’s vision of bringing papakaainga to life with a new architecturally designed, shared living development set 300m from Hamilton Lake, on the fringes of Hamilton’s central business district. The development comprises of eight townhouses and two duplexes and is designed to blend in with the landscape and make the most of the small site and natural light. Each dual-storied, modern townhouse features two spacious bedrooms, an ensuite, spacious wardrobe and main bathroom on the upper levels, with a high-spec full kitchen with storage and living area located downstairs. The two single-level duplexes feature a large open plan kitchen, dining lounge, laundry, main bedroom with ensuite and private patio, spacious wardrobe and ensuite, and two bedrooms with a spacious modern bathroom. The construction features durable solid-fill masonry blocks and eco-timber to provide architectural interest and provide shelter and privacy for residents in the shared complex. Iconic Construction managed the build process from start to finish, and project managed the relevant subcontractors to deliver the construction in the ambitious 2024 timeframe.
