McLachlan Redhead Residence is a striking single storey coastal retreat nestled along the tranquil shores of Redhead beach, south of Newcastle, NSW.
The residence adopts a bold and linear inverted truss form to obtain height to the internal ceilings and allow the ceilings to rake to the walls getting high windows for North light and sea breezes to penetrate.
Internal spaces are oriented towards the beachfront to create a seameless connection to the surrounding coastal landscape.
