Set on a coveted Burleigh Waters corner site, Razorbill Dual Dwelling, presents two standalone residences that embrace the surrounding coastal lifestyle.
The dwellings offer two distinct coastal inspired aesthetics, with Dwelling A adopting a darker colour palette contrasted by natural timber cladding and batten elements. Dwelling B features a lighter coastal materiality using white render and cladding, which alike its counterpart, is complimented by natural timber elements, that provide a sense of warmth.
Expansive eaves & batten screens are adopted across both dwellings providing varying layers of privacy, a sense of individuality between projects, and ensure adequate internal thermal comfort levels.
Open plan living and connection to entertaining areas comprise the heart of both residences, allowing for unimpeded indoor – outdoor connections. The orientation of these outdoor entertaining spaces is also purposefully positioned out of range from each other to ensure the privacy and comfortability of residents. The first floor of both residences features secondary living spaces, generous master suites and supplementary bedrooms, providing a sequential gradient of public to more private settings.
