New Plymouth’s growing tourism industry has a trendy new motel. It has been constructed over three levels and houses 31 units, a manager's apartment and on site car parking. The build involved removing one building, which was beyond repair, and the complete upgrade of another existing building. The remaining building was converted into studio rooms, a number of which have mezzanines. One key design element was retaining the existing building structure and materials and showcasing this within the interior. A stunning design meticulously crafted by a fantastic project team.
