About the
Professional

A legacy - from our family to yours.

Seavern began in 1948 in little Alvena Street Mentone, a bayside suburb of Melbourne. The family home was across the road and business founder, Vic Lukey would stroll home to see his wife Hazel every day for lunch.

Vic’s son John carried on this lunchtime tradition with his mum for almost 30 years, after taking over the business at 19, following the passing of his Dad.

The business grew in size, ability, and reputation under John’s dedication, building business relationships that have stood the test of time. The need for a change of pace and additional workspace led to a relocation to Braeside in 2000.

Today the Seavern family continue to create bespoke joinery alongside architects and designers. Whilst we embrace the evolution of joinery we proudly continue to honour the roots of our trade, just as we did all those years ago.

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
