Sitting on the tip of North Mona Vale headland, the garden’s position allows for unique views North to Palm Beach and South to Manly. We were excited to be engaged to complete the gardens to the house designed by Richard Cole Architecture and constructed by JJ Building Company.
The harsh, coastal conditions strongly influenced the planting palette which included combinations of Australian natives, exotic tropical and succulent plantings. Some key feature plantings in Pandanus, Frangipani, Banksia, Nolina and various Agaves can be seen throughout the garden.
Outdoor Establishments is proud to have been awarded Gold for Planting Design by the Australian Institute of Landscape Designers and Managers at the National Design Awards 2020. As well as runner-up for the Residential Landscape Design of the Year 2020.
