A softly toned floor connects every corner of this Chadstone fitout, letting timber, bronze accents and colourful displays take the spotlight while the surface underfoot stays quietly consistent from entry to tasting counter.
Chosen for its soft movement and hard-wearing honed finish, this limestone floor holds its own under daily retail traffic while giving the space a grounded, considered feel.
- Building style
- Contemporary
The Nespresso Boutique at Chadstone Shopping Centre has been designed as a premium retail destination where customers can discover, experience and enjoy the Nespresso brand. Specified by McCredie, supplied by Sareen Stone and installed by Alexander Interiors, Tavira Honed Limestone was selected as the primary flooring throughout the boutique, bringing warmth, subtle natural variation and enduring elegance to the contemporary interior while supporting the demands of a high-traffic commercial environment.
A Refined Setting for the Nespresso Experience
The Nespresso boutique at Chadstone has been designed as more than a traditional retail store, bringing together product discovery, tasting and personalised customer service within one considered environment.
A warm and restrained material palette allows the colourful coffee capsule displays and carefully detailed joinery to take centre stage. Throughout the store, Tavira Honed Limestone provides a calm, consistent foundation that connects the different retail, consultation and tasting zones.
Tavira Honed Limestone Flooring
Sareen Stone’s Tavira Honed Limestone was selected for the primary flooring throughout the boutique. Its soft neutral tones, gentle natural variation and smooth honed finish complement the warm timber joinery, bronze detailing and understated interior palette.
The generously proportioned limestone tiles help create a sense of openness across the store, while their subtle tonal movement brings depth and natural character without distracting from the products and customer experience.
Natural Stone in a High-Traffic Retail Environment
Retail flooring must respond to the ongoing demands of customer traffic, frequent cleaning, changing displays and daily commercial use. Here, the Tavira Limestone provides a refined natural surface suited to the interior environment while reinforcing the premium character associated with the Nespresso brand.
Its continuous use across the main circulation areas creates visual cohesion between the storefront, product displays, consultation areas and tasting counters. The result is a retail interior in which performance and design intent are considered together.
Materiality and Brand Experience
The limestone sits comfortably alongside the boutique’s warm timber, softly textured feature walls and metallic detailing. Together, these materials create an inviting, tactile environment that encourages customers to explore the space and engage with the Nespresso experience.
Rather than competing with the colourful capsule displays, the natural stone provides a quiet and enduring backdrop. Its material presence contributes to a store that feels warm, sophisticated and carefully resolved.
