Community
Concept

Every now and then, there is an opportunity to give something back. We saw an opportunity to advocate for a streetscape enhancement project that we entitled ‘Bridging Culture.’ We are developing a solution to recognise and enhance the public realm by reclaiming the street and delivering more green space within the City of Yarra.

We hope this can be realised as a pilot project within the municipality.

Our vision is to create architecture that is accessible and meaningful.
Blur is an architecture and design studio committed to connecting communities through considered and robust architecture. We believe that architecture has the capacity to inspire and connect, and is central to the way we navigate our world.

Who We Are
More than just a diverse group of architects or designers, we see ourselves as part of a broader fabric of custodians of the urban environment. We belong to a connection of streets, parks, communities and cities that are all essential to the human experience - both now and into the future.

We believe we can make a positive difference.

What We Do
The studio fosters a collaborative approach to developing solutions that respond to the individual needs of our clients. The sharing of ideas and experiences enriches the design process - delivering better outcomes, meaningful solutions and a lasting benefit.

Each project begins with a conversation.

We are all travellers on a path and the results of our actions have lasting impacts. It is with this in mind that we are committed to treading gently on the earth and playing our role as global citizens.

Carbon Neutral
Blur is working toward becoming a carbon-neutral business. To achieve this, we have committed to auditing our operations and offsetting unavoidable emissions.

One Percent
We are committed to supporting grassroots and charitable initiatives by donating at least 1% of our revenue or time to such causes. Over the last year, we helped feed the homeless, assisted in renovating a community space and contributed to the upgrade of a school in Indonesia.

Acknowledgement
Blur acknowledges the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, upon whose land we stand. We pay our respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging.

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
