A thoughtful transformation of a Lockwood beach house in Pauanui, enhancing living spaces with mono-pitch additions and sharp rainscreen cladding while preserving the original charm and character loved by the family.

At its centre lies a Lockwood hidden now by our Pauanui Makeover extending living and accommodation to better enjoy view shafts, sun and shelter.

Mono-pitch additions preserve the original house but enhance the aesthetic with new forms and sharp rainscreen cladding.

As much as possible of the original plan has been kept and additional spaces follow the scale and mood to provide a seamless extension that maintains the original beach house qualities the family loved.

This project is very nearly completed.
