"A Contemporary Classic"
Located in Queens Park, this major alterations and additions to a 1960’s single storey dwelling aims to respect the character of the existing Californian Bungalow, yet provide a residence for modern day living. When viewed from Alt St, the contemporary extension presents itself as a subtle diamond-shaped roof form indicating the start of the split-level extension.
With a young family in consideration; the design provides an open-plan environment with a study nook adjoining the kitchen to allow its owner to pursue their passion for cooking, while keeping an eye on the kids.
The design provides a seamless connection to its outdoors and well-lit spaces for everyday living.
