The space has been designed and purpose - built to support children’s well being and education through an environment that is embedded in nature

Ruru House is a private day care centre that opened in early 2019 outside the rural township of Lepperton.

A purpose- built early childhood centre that caters to fifty children; twenty under-twos and thirty over-twos.

The facility includes indoor play spaces, separate sleeping rooms and a covered outdoor dining space.

The client’s passion for a rural life was a strong influence in the design and incorporates the use of rural-inspired materials; metal cladding, exposed trusses, natural timber.
