HSPC was engaged to produce a masterplan and feasibility study which provides flexible design with the ability for the site to grow organically over 20 years and can adapt to the service requirements, respond to the growing and expanding community.

This would provide:

• 250 beds
• 10 Operating Suites
• 2 Cath Labs
• CU
• CCU
• Obstetrics
• Consultant Suites
• Full BOH Services
• Retail Precinct

Stage 1 of the build was been orientated to ensure all essential and critical services will flow into and be part of Stage 2 to ensure no redundancy of critical services and full operational continuity is maintained throughout the build.

The hospital features a flexible floor plate to allow shell space to be built, and enabling fit-out to occur at a later stage to accommodate any service modalities dependent on the hospital’s service requirements. As the hospital organically grows, it will be able to meet and design its service to suit its urban position.
