The challenge renovations pose is something we thrive on at Arete. When given the opportunity to add to the rich historical fabric of Arrowtown we couldn’t resist. Functional recladding and expansion of the existing homes provides for a higher performing home for the current owners. The design in keeping with the traditional cottage forms through the township.

The extension to the back of the property is where we have some fun. A contemporary take on more traditional forms' blends into the surrounding environment seamlessly. The Peek, popping its head above the existing home, provides intrigue, modernity and a formal relationship to the mountain ranges that provide a stunning backdrop.
