Complete transformation of this Thirroul Bungalow; alterations & additions preserving the original home and adding a show stopping low pitch gable that views out onto the original pool.
I immediately loved this home on first inspection as it was that typical brick and clad bungalow, low pitched roof that melded into its landscape on a battle axe block . This property is tucked away with no discernible view , it’s all about the location and close proximity to the beach for this family.
The interiors were a series of raked ceilings and exposed beams and brick , super cool and quirky . I didn’t want to alter that feeling, just give it a refresh and update the wet areas . It really didn’t need anything more than some clever renovations .
The existing kitchen and dining however (before pictures displayed) weren’t functional . This is where the extension was needed , extending this area towards the original pool with a gorgeous low pitch gable to blend into the original home . I then wrapped new outdoor entertaining areas, pool cabana and gym around the outside of this home & original pool to create a small oasis .
Hope you enjoy the planned before & after images . This project is now lodged for DA and fingers crossed for a 2023 build . Congrats to my lovely clients , I really enjoyed designing this project for you
