A natural pool conversion incorporating basalt, ferns and waterfalls.

A swimming pool with a difference! Our client wanted a natural pool to suit the rest of her hidden garden oasis. We retained the existing rectangular swimming pool and used basalt boulders to soften the edges and naturalise the shape. We have added waterfalls so our client can feel the fresh water cascade over her and constructed an island as a place for relaxation and immersion. A soft planting palette of ferns, native violets and aquatic species will help to attract wildlife and envelope you in greenery.
