Duncan Building Services can trace its roots back to the 70’s when Brian Duncan completed his Building Apprenticeship under a local and well-respected builder in on the Hibiscus Coast.

Taking the opportunity to live in California, and work in construction for 10 years he then returned home to continue working locally which meant a great deal to his family.

Working under the name Duncan Builders since 1989, in 2013 it became apparent the business was expanding and additional services were incorporated including Architectural Design and Project Management, so Duncan Building Services Ltd was incorporated to assume the operations of the business.

Duncan Building Services Ltd Licensed Building Practitioners and a member of the Certified Builders Association of New Zealand.

It’s understandable that building projects are often stressful, and for that reason we aim to alleviate the pressure as much as possible by Project Managing the entire job. We are happy to liaise with local Councils on your behalf to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and the permits and site inspections take place in a timely manner to keep the job flowing nicely.

While keeping abreast of the latest compliance regulations, and new standards, we continue to maintain our ‘old school’ ideals of build it right the first time.
